It all started with Madonna.And Kylie.
Then came the girl bands.Spice Girls.And Britney.Then J.Lo,Shakira.
Then rnb took over.And it created Beyonce,and Nelly Furtado,and Pussycat Dolls,and Rihanna.
We had beautiful ladies like Keri Hilson and Ciara and of course Fergie.
Then it was Katy Perry,Taylor Swift.

And then came Gaga.And did exactly what Kylie used to do 20 years ago(Kylie's words).And she stays at the top as long as she likes.

But for me,and many more people,the future belongs elsewhere.Neither in Pippa Middleton nor Patty,Miley Cyrus and hell,NOT Kirsten Stewart.
The following ladies hold the future in their hands.
They are sexy,they are powerful,they are intelligent,brilliant actually and can make fool of themselves whenever they like.Their voices,faces,talent,is obvious if you catch up with their performances.
We are going to see them in the movies,the charts,the media,the covers of the magazines for many many years on.
They have my vote,for sure.

Last year,B.o.B. chose Haley Williams from Paramore and they sang the song of 2010,"Airplanes".
Everybody "could use a wish right now",cause that's the crisis that we are dealing with,as i've mentioned before.

She was the star of the film "Easy A" that i mentioned a minute ago.She WON the MTV movie prize for that film.She has talked to David Letterman about the whole thing.She is hot either blonde,or redhead of whatever you wish,name it.She has a sexy voice,dazzling eyes and is probably gonna star in a loooot of movies in the future.The new generation of actresses is right here,very up and comin.

I first saw her at "the O.C.",7 years ago.She was blonde back then,but still amazingly cute.
Last year,she was the star of "Tron:Legacy".She is playing at "House" since 2007.We are going to see her in 8 (!)movies until 2013,one of them the upcoming "Cowboys and Aliens". I bet as much as you like that she is a Bond girl of the future.Sure thing. 30 Seconds to Mars are going to rock Athens on the 6th of July.
Although i am a huge fan of smashin'live performances,i can only afford watching them on youtube at the moment. :(
The video is unquestionably powerful.So i picked it as the soundtrack of this post.

I found some inspiration on the words that start with "re-".
Re-act.Act to another action.Don't just stay there watching.Listening is a reaction,for sure.But action after an action is a sign that you are there,alive,with your
re-flects on.
Respond.To anything worth responding.
Rehab.Leave all the toxic people and killing habits away from your system.
Re-set the game.Reset the rules.Make it more fun,more interesting,more yours,more open to new people to play along.Game is on.Are you watchin'?Are you playin'?
Re-place.The furniture.The garbage.The goals.Yourself.Put yourself in a new place,more exciting,or more calm,both necessary.Put the new you in the place of the old you.
Re-fresh.That website on your computer.Your body with some exercize,with swimming,with new experiences,new ideas,some massage,some catching up with a friend you haven't met for a while.

To sum up, re-start.
Don't stay in the past forever.Come join us in the present.Take a deep breath.Warm up a little bit.
Re-member to sleep well,but don't waste your summer in sleeping.You are only living this year once.
Put your best clothes on,drink water(it's crucial for this ride).
The button is right there.You can quit or you can do anything.With.your own life.
Can you feel it?The adrenaline?The anticipation?It's all there for us.It feels so good to know that you can push that damned button as many times as you want to.I am.

FULL MOON NIGHT

I took this picture last summer,in a beautiful and mystical island.It's not of the best quality,but it fits with this post.


Tonight we had both a full moon and an eclipse.I was searching for the moon,couldn't find it and some moments ago i viewed the beauty of it just outside the window.
Now with the Twilight zones,and these vampire fashion deliriums that have ruled lately,the moon has taken new roles in peoples' lives.
But since i haven't watched any of the Twilight movies and i am a hopefull romantic,my feelings today are still the same in front of a full moon:
I wanna make a wish,i wanna watch it with someone beloved,i seek for the full moon of August.
The best part is that i can say many stupid things,feel anxious,go crazy,and then blame it all on the full moon.
Tomorrow i can be all new crazy better again.I may do this:

One of my favorite songs,one of my favorite bands.
The reason i picked this song for today's post is because for over two weeks now,my city is in a boiling situation,very similar to the lyrics and the video.To be more clear:
Athens finally followed the example of fellow countries like Spain and Hungary and people are staying for whole days in central squares of their city in order to send a very clear message.To whom?To themselves,their co-citizens,their politicians,the media,the other countries,to the next generations that are watching and hopefully will learn something from it.The message is:"Our tolerance is over and either you(we)take responsibility for your(our)actions,or don't pretend that this is democracy".

I was never really good talking about politics.However,the financial crisis that has been the "hip"topic in political fields for the past two years is not the only problem that we are dealing with.
To change the world you have to change yourself first.We have to "give ourselves one more chance".
I went to the main square of Athens and i will keep fighting for my rights and every human right that people deserve to enjoy.
So,what did YOU do today?How did you act?How did you spend your day?
It's not financial anymore.It begins from little things,little details.
Maybe when you read "act",you think of actors,actresses,but the drama is enough.
I can make new lists about ideas of how you can act and make a difference today,and i will,eventually,through this blog,but you have to think of your own little things that you are postponing for weeks and months and years.
The good news is that when you actually DO them,all the things that you are postponing,you will be able to do any-thing aftewards.True story.
Stop talking(i did,too).Breathe,make a step.Jump.Move.Go see something that you haven't seen.Invite friends over,organize a party.Be spontaneous,not lazy.Action heroes like the adrenaline,so try something extreme.
And if you achieve something that hasn't been done before in your life,you'll be your own hero.If you achieve something that hasn't been done before in anybody's life,you'll be our hero.

SUMMER TIME

In 20 days we 'll officially be entering the second month of the summer.So before it's all over,REALISE it is summer,find a place,visit it,and feel the song that follows to your core.
My list of summer tips that will help you get there:

1)Put on suncream.Or else goodbye tanning,goodmorning wrinkles.
2)Have some sex.Your tanned skin will help with that.
3)Put on a condom.Nobody wants it to burn when you pee with 40 degrees.Or worse.
4)Mosquitos are the enemy.Would you let your enemy drink your blood without fighting back?Act.
5)Are you seriously telling me that you are taking your laptop with you on the island,or worse,the beach?
6)Eat some fruit.They will make you happy.Eat less "obvious",as i call it,sugar.It will make you hungry.
7)Read something different from work reports.What about that pile of books at your room?You 'll have a million new ideas in September.
8)Organize a night beach party.Your friends will love you for that.
9)Speak to people you don't know.You'll have a new strength when you speak to the ones you already do.
10)Write down the best experiences that you keep from summer 2011 and email them,ok?
And last but not least,remember that

11)You may had a crappy year,you may not have money or company or the mood for vacation and crazy wild nights and days but there's nothing like the peace of sleeping without anxiety,waking up from animal sounds,or better yet,waves on the sand,drinking a cold melon coctail and find new optimism that you can do whatever you want,you can have all the fun you want,as long as it's summer and your time is precious.

Hello there people! Welcome to my blog,i hope you'll embrace it. From now on my name is "Sassy" for you,and the code for our communication as well. 
I wanted my first post to be about people.People who need people,that's right.
Why do YOU think you need people?And more importantly,do you know people?For instance,the people of your city.Can you say with certainty that you know the delivery boy that rings your bell,your mayor or your manicurist?It has become very obvious to me lately that i know ENOUGH people in my city since i always bump into acquaintances eve-ry-whe-re.To be more exact,i know people that work at Starbucks,the bus driver,the actors,the bikers,the journalists,the bloggers,the teachers,the plummer,the psychologists,the scientists,the lifeguards,the models,the activists,the football players,the writers etc
Of course they don't know everything about ME.And that's another topic,how deeply we let  people we encounter to really and actually know us,but that will be another post.

The point is that we are THE sociable animal.The worst punishment we can receive is jail,and that is because being in a cage means being alone,away from other people,your animal friends.When we feel lonely,we call someone,we seek for a hug,a kiss,some sex,we meet the people that we 've chosen as safe for taking care of these needs and go out.Or stay home.And play table games,and laugh,and become kids again.And we go to a basketball game or a concert or a protest,and we can smell the crowd.We see them,the other people,they are there,and everything is in place.

It's not always fun,it can cause trouble sometimes,but the fact is this and remember it: you need people and they need you.We are made to be together and we will interact until we die.And that's a good thing.Nobody,and by that i mean NOBODY wants to die alone.
At this blog i am gonna try to impart my ideas and my thoughts about how you and i can live.Laugh more,love more,grow up better.If it will be for the best,only time will show.
So stop whining and do something useful instead with your people.Sing to them,push them to wake up,run with them,stare them,eat an ice cream and fight for tomorrow together.
